Lynchwoods Spirits was built from hard work, family values, and a passion for creating honest, handcrafted spirits. After more than 25 years of marriage and successful self-employment careers, we decided to turn a hobby into something bigger. What started with an old family recipe and a love for the craft became a true small-batch distillery built from the ground up and named after our location in the area known locally as Lynch Woods. Our lawyer combined the two word name into Lynchwoods on paper and it stuck.

Every spirit we make is mashed, distilled, barreled, and bottled right here on site. We take pride in doing 
things the right way — not the easy way. We use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible and carefully refine every recipe ourselves to create bold, authentic flavors we’re proud to put our name on. One thing you’ll never find here is purchased ethanol. Every drop that goes into our bottles is made on our property, period.

Over the years, we’ve continued expanding beyond our original products into flavored whiskeys, rum, vodka, our version of an Irish  Whiskey and soon rye and some other products in the barrels right now. New 
experimental batches that are always aging, fermenting, or being perfected behind the scenes. There’s always something new in the works at Lynchwoods Spirits, and that’s part of what keeps this journey exciting.

Our distillery is built with the same blue-collar mindset that defines our brand. We handcraft our own copper stills and repurpose milk bulk tanks into mash tanks because they simply work better for our process. We have also now added a new commercial still to the mix to aid in new products. We believe in being transparent about what we do, and we enjoy opening our doors to visitors who want to see the operation firsthand. Most Saturdays, the stills are running and the shop is alive with the smell of grain, oak, and fresh spirits.

 

Good whiskey takes patience. Barrel aging isn’t fast, and quality can’t be rushed. From the beginning, our 
philosophy has been simple: make a great product at a fair price and build relationships that last. We’ve always believed in earning loyal customers one bottle at a time instead of chasing shortcuts.
 
We now have 2 satellite locations you are sure to have a great time at. Lynchwoods Spirits Speakeasy Experience located in beautiful Emlenton.  Serving the best cocktails you have ever had. Hand crafted by Julie who will blow your mind with not only watching her create and then tasting the finished product. The food is also just as special here. Julie is a chef and caterer as well and the food is not only beautiful to look at, but a whole new taste experience! 
Locally the Shandaggen Bar and Grille in Jackson Center. Patrick not only has some exciting cocktails 
created weekly, his pizza and wings and other foods can not be beat! Stop in for great entertainment or play a game of pool. Have a seat at the bar and converse with our areas finest.
